I had an amazing stay at Porvoo in Porvoo! The reception lady was incredibly kind and welcoming. The location of the hotel was perfect, with everything I needed nearby, including the bus station, university, market, pool. The peaceful and quiet atmosphere made it a truly relaxing experience. The hostel itself was clean and tidy, with a spacious kitchen equipped for self-cooking. I especially enjoyed walking along the river and admiring the beautiful houses in the area. If I ever visit Porvoo again, I would definitely choose to stay here.
Nothing, it was perfect! 😊

Loved the self-service kitchen, especially when I burnt my toast and set off the fire alarm. Parking was convenient, until I accidentally scratched my car. WLAN worked perfectly, allowing me to scroll through social media while ignoring everyone around me.
Couldn't find a butler to carry my bags. So inconvenient.

The hostel was really quiet during Easter, which was nice. We enjoyed the beautiful walk just across the road, surrounded by trees and nature. It was great to have our own fridge in the room and watch Finnish TV with subtitles.
The location was not so convenient, and we had to rely on the limited options for food nearby. some of the attractions and services, like bike rentals, were only available in the summer months.

We had a delightful stay in a charming hostel situated in a serene and picturesque setting. The old wooden house exuded authenticity and added to the overall charm. The rooms were clean, spacious, and quite comfortable. We especially appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and the communal spaces which fostered an opportunity to mingle with fellow travelers. The hostess was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. Additionally, the price was very reasonable, making it an excellent choice for budget-conscious travelers. I highly recommend this lovely hostel for a pleasant and authentic experience.

I recently stayed at a charming hostel in a historical building. The location was great, just a short walk from the city center and the beautiful riverside. The hostess was incredibly welcoming and provided me with maps and recommendations of local sights to visit. The room was comfortable and clean, with a fridge for my convenience. The hostel offered free tourist brochures and had excellent Wi-Fi.
The only downside was that there was no one available to open the door before 4pm, so I couldn't store my luggage until check-in time.

I stayed at Porvoo Hostel and loved the rooms! They had everything I needed - separate beds, a table, chairs, lockable wardrobes, a television, and even a fridge. It felt cozy and homey, like a comfortable retreat in nature. As someone who enjoys being in direct touch with nature, I found these rooms perfect for my stay.
While the rooms were great, I personally didn't like that the bathrooms were shared. But hey, it's just my opinion and I understand others might still find it convenient.

Free parking and Wi-Fi, self-service kitchen for breakfast, cozy lounge. Cons: Just loved how the reception is closed for 9 hours at night, truly convenient.

The value for money was great and the room was clean and comfortable with TV. The location was peaceful with a swimming pool and a beautiful forest nearby. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable.
The breakfast offerings could have been better with more variety.

I had a fantastic stay at this beautiful and historic hostel for 4 nights. The well-equipped rooms, spacious kitchen, and clean environment made me feel right at home. The staff was amazing and provided great service. The hostel's location was also convenient, just a 15-minute walk from the city center with a grocery store nearby. The peaceful surroundings and close proximity to the river made it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the charming atmosphere. If I ever return, I would happily stay here again.
I do recommend this hotel.
